Students considering the University of Oxford for undergraduate study may be interested in our seminar, “Glimpses: In the city of Dreaming Spires,” happening later in the afternoon.

After the Summer School, all applicants are invited to join us for our public outreach seminar, Glimpses: In the city of Dreaming Spires, from 3.00 pm – 6.00 pm. Attendance is optional.

Classes
Students choose to attend three classes, each lasting 50 minutes, offered on a wide variety of subjects. There is no restriction on the combination of classes you can choose. The subjects being taught in 2016 are as follows:

Eligibility
This event is free, and open to students studying for SPM, IGCSE (O Levels) or equivalent; or any pre-university course. Certain subjects have prerequisite knowledge; students without such preparation should not apply to attend those classes.
How to apply
Complete the application form by the deadline: 5.00 pm Friday, 19 August 2016.
Applicants will be informed of the outcome of their application no later than Monday, 22 August 2016. Successful applicants will receive reading lists, and in some cases problem sets, in preparation for their classes. All students attending the Summer School are expected to have completed their reading lists and problem sets in advance.
