On 13 November 2012, the Oxford University Malaysia Club (OUMC) held a dialogue session over tea with Y.B. Senator Tuan Gan Ping Sieu, the Deputy Minister of Youth and Sports, at the Costwold Lodge Hotel, Banbury Road. The group of approximately 15 participants joined the Deputy Minister in frank discussion over electoral politics, the future for youth engagement in Malaysia and – on a lighter note – his own experiences studying for A Levels in Oxford.

After the event, the Deputy Minister joined members of OUMC for our Deepavali celebration dinner at the Rajasthan Restaurant, Cowley Road.
