Malaysian Oxbridge Games 2015

On 5th May 2015, the annual Malaysian Oxbridge Games between the Oxford University Malaysia Club (OUMC) and Cambridge University Malaysia Society (CuMAS) was held in the University of Oxford. The games is held annually and hosted alternately by OUMC and CuMAS. This year, it was organised by OUMC and the Games comprised of frisbee, captain’s ball, volleyball, chess, badminton, squash, and football. This annual competition is aimed at fostering relationships between Oxford and Cambridge Malaysians through sporting activities and is a good opportunity for members from both universities to meet each other.

For this year’s Malaysian Oxbridge Games, OUMC has finally succeeded in winning back the trophy from CuMAS after winning frisbee, volleyball, chess, and football. The great sportsmanship from both sides had made the event a huge success and the players and supporters were seen enjoying themselves. The Games will be held next year in Cambridge and it is hoped that the Games will continue to boost the relationship between the two clubs. We would also like to thank all OUMC and CuMAS members for supporting the event.
