On the 30th of July, OUMC sent a representative to attend a lunch session with the CEO of TalentCorp, Mr. Johan Mahmood Merican. Together with representatives from several other Malaysian societies, we discussed with Mr. Johan about the current TalentCorp initiatives to engage overseas Malaysian students such as the Breakfast with CEO series and the Engineering Bootcamp. We also raised several issues and feedbacks regarding student engagement in the UK, and more specifically Oxford, with Mr. Johan, which we hope will lead to better collaboration between TalentCorp and the Malaysian societies in the future.
