On the 9th of May, OUMC members took time out of their busy schedules and gathered to witness the results of our country’s 14th election. The suspense and tension in the air grew more palpable as the afternoon progressed and the evening drew in, but along with the stress there was definitely a sense of togetherness- the presence of so many Malaysians in one room was a constant reminder that we were (are!) all in this together, no matter the outcome of the elections. It was also a lovely hang out/bonding session, giving all of us a much needed break from our studies. Thank you to everyone who attended and we wish all the best to the next leaders of our dearest nation!
