On the 22nd of September, 1230pm at Pietro Restaurante Italiano, the Oxford University Malaysia Club joined YB Tony Pua, the DAP National Publicity Secretary and MP for Petaling Jaya Utara for a lunch cum talk on the Role of a Responsible Opposition in the National Government, and the Way Forward for Malaysia.

YB Tony spoke about the current economic situation in Malaysia, presenting his views on the future of Malaysia and the way forward. He also spoke about the need to revamp the civil service and the changes in the Malaysian schools. A Q and A session followed where audiences asked questions and voiced their opinions on various subjects.

The session ended at 3 pm. The club thanks YB Tony for taking his time out to speak to us.
