On Saturday, 5th May 2014, members of the Club along with Senior Member Dr Afifi al-Akiti convened for an Extraordinary General Meeting to vote on whether the Club will adopt the University-wide standard constitution for clubs & societies that is drafted by the Proctors. The motion was passed unanimously by all members present.

Following the EGM, members present were treated to a sumptuous feast of veggie fritters, velvet cake and pulled tea prepared by President Firdaus Chin, who also proceeded to share his career experiences prior to attending Oxford. The session ended at 5.00pm.
